The Image Works is an independent stock photography agency that has unified numerous photographers and specialized collections from around the world into one impressive archive. Our images come from different sources: top-notch photojournalists, a network of affiliated agencies, specialized collections, museums and newspapers. Spanning both historical and contemporary material, the result is an incredibly diverse yet focused collection of over 600,000 images online and access to over 25 million images.
The Image Works licenses images to books, magazines, documentary films, advertisers, and other media. As editorial specialists we believe that the value of an image lies in a combination of its visual strength and the information it conveys.
